1. Welcome and Arrival
On arrival, please park your car in the car park and check in at the reception. Reception is open from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 20:00. Camping pitches are available from 15:00; on your day of departure, please vacate the pitch before 12:00. For a POD or other rental accommodation, check-in is between 16:00 and 20:00, and check-out on your day of departure is between 09:00 and 11:00.
2. Reservation and Contract
The reservation contract is personal: you may not sublet the accommodation or pitch to, or transfer it to, another party, and you may not make any changes to the contract yourself. You complete it, sign it, and return it. The number of persons may not exceed the capacity of the accommodation. Additional persons (within the capacity) must be notified in writing in advance; we must agree to this and the rate will be adjusted accordingly. The same applies to a camping pitch. Exceeding the capacity during the stay will result in the immediate termination of the contract, without any refund.
3. Preferences
Preferences stated at the time of reservation will be honoured wherever possible, subject to availability and without the campsite being bound by them.
4. Payment
At the time of reservation, a deposit of 25% of the total stay is required; no booking fees are charged. Once your signed reservation form and deposit have been received, we will send you your confirmation. Without a deposit or a signed contract, the reservation is not valid. The remaining balance is due no later than one month before arrival for a POD or other rental accommodation, and on the day of arrival for a camping pitch. No discount is given for a later arrival.
5. Late Arrival and Early Departure
Should your stay be shortened for any reason, or should you arrive later than planned, the full amount of the stay remains due. If you arrive earlier than agreed, your reserved pitch may not yet be available, unless this has been arranged with us in advance. Please notify us in writing of any late arrival; if we have not heard from you within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation or pitch.
6. Cancellation
Annuleer je meer dan 30 dagen voor de aankomstdatum, dan krijg je de aanbetaling terug. Annuleer je later, dan wordt er niets terugbetaald. Kom je later aan of vertrek je eerder, dan blijft het volledige bedrag van het verblijf verschuldigd. We raden je aan zelf een annuleringsverzekering af te sluiten, bijvoorbeeld via Campez Couvert.
Should we cancel the stay for a reason on our part (except in cases of force majeure), all amounts paid will be refunded to you. In both cases, any administrative fees remain payable to the campsite. If you have taken out a Campez Couvert cancellation insurance policy, the terms and conditions of that policy apply.
7. Security Deposit for Rental Accommodation
For a POD, a security deposit of €200 is required on arrival, payable by bank or postal cheque, and you will be given an inventory list. The deposit will be returned to you following the inventory check on your day of departure, provided everything is in order. In the event of damage or missing items, the costs of repair or replacement will be deducted. If the accommodation is not returned clean, or if it smells of smoke, €50 will be withheld from the deposit; in accordance with the house rules, guests are responsible for cleaning the accommodation themselves.
8. Damage and Liability
Please use the campsite's facilities and installations for their intended purpose. Anyone who causes damage to the accommodation, its contents, or the communal buildings will be held liable. As the lead booker, you are personally responsible for all damage caused by yourself, your fellow travellers, or your visitors; the security deposit does not constitute a maximum liability. You hold a public liability insurance policy and enclose proof of this with your reservation. Beyond its legal liability, the campsite accepts no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage of any kind, during or after the stay.
9. Swimming Pool
Children may only use the swimming pool when accompanied by an adult. Swimwear is the only permitted attire. The swimming pool is open from 10:00 to 20:00.
10. Barbecue
Barbecuing is permitted in the designated communal area, in compliance with the safety rules.
11. Pets
Pets are welcome at the campsite, provided they are kept on a lead at all times. They must be tattooed and vaccinated, and you must have their vaccination booklet with you. Please do not leave your pet unattended at the campsite or in the accommodation.
12. Quiet Hours and Nuisance
Guests are required to observe the campsite's house rules, in particular those relating to quiet hours at night. The lead booker is responsible for any nuisance caused by their fellow travellers. Anyone who disturbs other guests or damages the facilities may be asked to leave the campsite immediately, independently of any claims for damages by the campsite or third parties.
13. Guest Declaration
By making a reservation, you declare that you have legal capacity to enter into a contract, that your details and address are correct, and that you have read and understood these terms and conditions, the house rules, and the rates.
